FindColor requires an account, created either with Google sign-in or an email address and password. We store your email address (for email/password accounts) or the basic profile info Google shares when you sign in (name, email), plus whatever display name you set in Profile.
The photos you take, the color readouts derived from them, and your streak stats. If you turn it on in Profile → Settings, we also record the location where a photo was taken — this is off by default and entirely your choice.
Your data is stored on our infrastructure provider's servers (Supabase), tied to your account, and sent over an encrypted connection. Photos are kept in a private storage bucket only your own account can read — nothing you capture is public or shared with other users.
The camera is only opened when you tap "Find this color" inside the app. FindColor never accesses your photo library — every photo comes directly from a fresh capture, and it's never used for anything beyond comparing it to the target color and saving it to your own collection.
You can delete any saved color (and its photo) from its detail screen at any time, and sign out whenever you want from Profile → Settings. Self-serve full account deletion is being finalized — until then, deleting every saved color removes your content, and you can email us (below) to have the account itself removed.
FindColor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
